I know that at Good Sam, where I gave birth, and at my first OB's office, BFing support was minimal! I did most of the reserach on my own and saw an LC before giving birth. I needed so much more support, and never got it. I had a very rough time of it,m between having had a breast Reduction and having a baby with severe undiagnosed Jaundice and bad reflux... well, it's a long sad tale, but I only BFed for two weeks.

Next time (when I have another...) I am determined again to do more and be more suceesful. But looking back, I was so determined and so well read before and that didnt help. one need Real Life Support in adverse circumstances.

Next time I am giving birth at North Shore, hope they wil be better.

Wanna come help me next time?

Elise
