It can take you a bit to get going - even coming back to the gym after a summer break it's hard work. I made the mistake in the first session of pushing too hard and it took me a couple of days to recover. Last week I stopped early, the same this week. Once I'm getting too tired I'm making mistakes which aren't good and can lead to injury. I also remember my first session where I almost didn't survive the warm-up and then couldn't do much in the main gym session either.
Oh, I've been going to the gym for a few weeks now, but this class is new for me. I've been keeping up pretty well with the other classes, and this instructor told me on Saturday that the medicine ball class would be great to get rid of my spare tire (I asked, she didn't just volunteer the information!)
So...I'm gonna give it a try and see how it goes. I can't go regularly to this class because there is only babysitting from 8:30-11 am. I enlisted my mom today because I really want to try it out.
