He has pragmatic/semantic processing issues...which basically means that he takes things very literally ("keep your eye on the ball" leads him to put the ball in front of his eye, etc.). It's all part of his sensory stuff...all connected. He also used to get his pronouns really mixed up and still does a bit, but speech therapy has done wonders for him in such a short time. Also, he has echolalia in some instances. Used to be if you asked him, "Do you want to go outside?" he'd reply, "Wanna go outside." Now he says, "yes" appropriately...which took only 2 sessions with his therapist - as opposed to me trying to find a way to get him to just say "yes" for over a year! :-)
