Yucky day

It's windy and rainy and cold outside. Laszlo doesn't have school today because it's superintendents' day (whatever that means). It's POURING right now. It's 10:15 and Lily has school at 11...and we have to drive her there. I have plans to meet my mom for lunch at 11:30 and then to go to Home Goods. I already skipped the gym because I didn't feel like getting out in this weather.

I'm so tempted to just cancel and stay home with all three kids all day. Maybe this rain will let up a bit, but I just hate schlepping all of them when it's so awful out, especially lil Ella.

Maybe once I get dressed I'll feel differently. Ack.

Have I mentioned that I hate going out on days like this?

Stay in! Yesterday I had to run errands with both girls. Miro had my car, so I was driving the stick shift truck. It was raining big fat splashy drops and raining hard. The streets were full of water. It was nearly dark, the clouds were so heavy. Other drivers were driving badly. It was not fun.

I bet you're out there.

I feel the same way, but I have to pack up the car for my roadtrip with Sophia. I did almost keep her home from school today, but the two of them were bickering and driving me bonkers so off to school she went.
