Yeah, we turned off the water to the bidet the week we moved in here. Laszlo calls it the "little potty" now and has peed in it several times. At least I can turn the water back on to clean it out.
We thought about removing it when we moved in for some extra storage space (the bathroom is totally open and there isn't a linen closet) but we decided to keep it.
To be honest, I've never used a bidet and don't think I ever would, except if I have another baby...I bet it would really help post partum irritation.
Oh, and I fantasize about having another baby just so I can have it in that tub!
oh, the kids....*giggle* i'm still trying to think of way to keep sproglette from papering the house, but we've got some other toys in there she likes to play with-the toilet brushes, the drawers under the sink that she can't figure out how to open, stacking cups, stuff that splashes into water.....;D
Yeah, our bathroom is insane. It's one of the main things we loved about this house when we saw it. The tub is a massage tub ("better" than a Jacuzzi) and it's huge. For the most part, it just serves as a swimming pool for the kids and is usually full of toys.
Yesterday I tossed a bunch of unused, unrolled toilet paper into an old tissue box in the bathroom. Much easier than trying to get it back on the roll (which is what my youngest was trying to do after of course unrolling the whole thing.) I'm sorry to report that it's not as awkward to use as I first thought it would be. :S
Awww...I do that all day long. She actually has a full set of teeth marks on her thigh but I have to place the blame on her big brother...who got really pissed off the other day and took a chunk out of her. I think I should stop saying, "oooh, I'm gonna BITE you!"

This is how it was before we moved in:

/me covets.
And I totally get the bathroom thing. It's hard enough to just use the toilet, much less try to take a shower.

I could do without the bidet, though. ;)
The kids are cute too. But OMG, THE BATHROOM! ;)
(I don't put paper on the rolls in my house anymore.)
