There was a horrible storm here last night and our house was struck by lightning. No real damage, other than our router/hub getting totally fried. The burglar alarm and phone were screwed up too. I had to wait in the house all day today for repair people and also for some furniture we ordered to be delivered. I hate days when I'm totally stuck in the house. And of course, one of the deliveries (scheduled between 1-5) came at 6:45 instead.
I managed to run out before 1 and grab some fresh air and lunch. We're definitely taking Laszlo SOMEWHERE tomorrow because the 2 days with my family and then today stuck here all day made him a lil crazy - and me also. We'll try to hit the beach tomorrow if the weather permits.
Amazing how I feel out of touch without the internet, and it was only 24 hours. Each time I had a free moment today (they were few and far between) I thought about going online to check my mail, etc...but could not. Then when I finally hook up the new router this evening, only junk, junk, junk. Shoulda known.
