Domesticity?
Jun. 6th, 2008 05:03 pmI'm feeling strangely domestic lately, I must be ovulating or something.
Last night I made sausage, onions and peppers for dinner. I served it over toasted pine nut couscous. It was YUM.
And then, I did the black and white cookies today. I should have made notes on the recipe (I did today) but since it's been over 10 years since I've made them, I forgot how I had tweaked it in the past. I have to get more confectioners sugar to finish the white icing, I'm all out and I have lots of chocolate left over and also lots of naked cookies.
Laszlo told me that it was the best black and white cookie he'd ever eaten, which is no small compliment since he's quite versed in the field of black and white cookies. :-)
Just have to figure out how to pack them to bring them and also have to hope that our host and her family like them!
