We've got snow!

Well, it's not much, but we've got some snow on the ground. Unfortunately, it's that powdery non-sticky stuff, but it's a start. I love the snow. I love being snowed in when there's a lot of snow on the ground and no place to go. I will love it even more this year now that we have a house and a fireplace.

I think we'll make our first fire this afternoon...we had the chimney cleaned today and it's all ready to go. I never had a fireplace before, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated. The cleaner guy told me the basics, and we have some logs, so I think we'll try it today. I'm so excited. And I even have hot chocolate in the pantry!

Laszlo's stirring in his crib and I am anxious to see his reaction to all the snow outside. He didn't really have any interest last year and has never really been into playing with it. We got him a nice warm snowsuit this year, so hopefully he'll be interested today just to get used to the feeling of it.

Our house looks so pretty right now. I have to take some pictures before all the snow gets gray.

Did I mention that I love snow?
