Robert's away until Wednesday, and for some reason I decided to torture myself and look back at all the videos I have of Laszlo on my computer. So of course I end up so sad because he's SUCH a big boy now. It's hard to even wrap my head around the fact that just a year ago he was barely talking, a complete baby...and now he's a BOY.

People warned me that it was going to go by fast, but I had no idea it would be this fast. I'm feeling sad and lonely and nostalgic and missing my baby boy.

He's my best friend in the whole world now, and every day gets better and better still...I just can't believe how tiny he was and how that was just yesterday.

1. What year was it?
88-89

2. What were your three favorite bands?
Grateful Dead, Traffic, Steely Dan (I was such the wannabe hippie, duh)

3. What was your favorite outfit?
Pretty much same as now, black T-shirt, jeans.

4. What was up with your hair?
Long and curly, some bangs happening.

5. Who were your best friends?
Jackie, Aubrey and Noah.

6. What did you do after school?
Worked in a local private pharmacy, smoked pot at the docks, stole mom's car and drove around town.

7. Did you take the bus?
Nope, lived in walking distance, but my dad usually drove me.

8. Who did you have a crush on?
Hmmm, senior year? I had my heart broken the previous summer and had a stupid crush on this popular guy in my grade.

9. Did you fight with your parents?
I think just about the usual stuff, they were actually pretty cool.

10. Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
Senior year? Hmmm...I can't even remember anyone.

11. Did you smoke cigarettes?
Yep, and my parents knew. My dad actually shared a cigarette with me on the campus of University of Maryland College Park when we took a road trip to check out colleges. My dad was super cool.

12. Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?
Nah, nobody really messed with me like that.

13. Did you have a 'clique'?
I was best friends with Jackie, and senior year we were the token Deadheads, which we pretty much did because the popular kids were doing it, and it was the one thing we could do better than them (at the time, that's what we thought). So we ended up hanging out with these people I had tried to be friends with for the 11 years prior, and I realized that they were just as boring as we were. We were also very good friends with a group of boys from the other high school in the area.

14. Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater?
No idea what this means.

15. Admit it, were you popular?
I was pretty popular senior year because of the hippie stuff, but other than that I had some good friends that I've kept since then. Although Jackie and I haven't spoken in years.

16. Who did you want to be just like?
This girl Heather who graduated 2 years before me. She was the most gorgeous girl I had ever seen in person, and she was cool, and really talented artistically...and a little fucked up, and all the boys wanted her.

17. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I think I wanted to be a child psychologist at that time, or a writer (ha) or to work in the fashion district in NYC.

18. Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
At 18, I thought I'd be right where I am pretty much, although for the majority of the years in between I never thought it was at all possible.
