Tom and Katie
Jun. 23rd, 2005 05:09 pmI just caught the now infamous Tom Cruise appearance on Oprah and woah, is he creepy. I never really "got" the whole Tom Cruise appeal, other than he's made some good movies. To me, he has always looked remarkably like a ferret. But he was just so over the top that it wasn't over the top at all, you know? I know there are people selling "Free Katie" T-shirts and stuff, but seriously, he's doing something to her that's just not right. The whole thing left me feeling worried for poor innocent Katie Holmes.
Not to mention Cruise's appalling comments about Brooke Shields and people in general using antidepressants. He made some comment like, "Years ago it was cool to say no to drugs, now that I'm saying it, people are attacking me for it." Ok, yeah. Heroin, etc...very similar to antidepressants to help with post partum depression and the like. Moron. We're not all bazillionaires with no cares in the world, ya stupid ferret.
