This morning I had laser hair removal done on my arms and my lower back. It wouldn't make me feel like such a man if the tech didn't keep referring to it as my "back patch." The laser didn't hurt at all, which I was happy about of course.
Then I went to get my eyebrows waxed, which did hurt, as usual.
After that I came home to get some medical forms for Ella because I need them to go to the Social Security office to get her card, since it was missing. While looking for the forms, I found the SS card. SCORE!
I went to the vitamin store to see if they had any protein drinks that don't taste like poison. The manager recommended something and I bought 2 cans. I drank 1 in the car and it was actually pretty ok. Then I went to Trader Joe's and saw that they have the same drinks cheaper, and I'm there at least once a week, so I got a few more cans. Came home, had some moo shu pork from TJ's and now I'm biding a few minutes until I go see Juno, which I've wanted to see for a few weeks now. Laszlo's home today with a stuffy nose and the babysitter is here, so I'm taking advantage and seeing the movie, since usually I have to pick him up at 2:45 and there's no movie that ends in time for that.
I swore to go to the gym 6 days a week, but it looks like this week it's going to be 5. I would so rather see a movie all alone than go to the gym for an hour. Maybe I can hook my mom into watching the kids while I go to an evening class at the gym, but she hasn't been sleeping and I don't want to take advantage.
So that's it. I needed a day like this. Robert's been working late every night at his new job, which is good, but the kids have been extra naughty in their witching hour (7 pm-ish) and my patience is shot by the time he gets home.
