Merry Xmas

lalicopaWe took the kids to Macy's in NYC on Thursday (actually just the two big ones, we left Ella home with the babysitter).
Lily was SO excited to see Santa. I can't help it, she totally believes in him and it's nothing I taught her. I have no problem with her believing in him, and I think it's kinda cute.
On Saturday night, Robert's niece asked Lily, "Where does Santa live?" She looked at her totally serious and said, "In Manhattan!"
Lily has eternal plumberbutt
After Macy's we went to Bryant Park and Lily rode the super cool carousel there.
Had lunch at Bryant Park Grill and Robert's sister Shelly met us there for coffee and a walk.
This is an awful picture of me and my old friend Jackie that I met with for the first time in about 13 years. She looks way better in person too, Robert takes awful pictures.
Then Saturday we went to Robert's family's annual Xmas shindig. Robert brought this dress home for Ella last week, he picked it out all by himself.
This was Lily's favorite present. She didn't stop playing with it for hours. Ella is terrified of it.
Ella really needs a new puppy. She was scootching around following Tessie (Robert's sister's dog) all night long. She has such a great temperament and put up with all of it. Ella's remarkably gentle.
And a bonus Ella shot, because she's so damn cute.
