Poor Laszlo

lalicopaI got 2 doses of the antibiotics into Laszlo so far, but the swelling's still there and the redness and heat. I called the doctor and he said it could take 24-48 hours and that as long as it's not spreading, then we're ok.
It's so puffy that I can't get his shoe on. So we're basically home bound. It's either that, or go somewhere with a shopping cart - which would mean spending money I can't be spending.
So we're home today. La di da. Hopefully the kids will nap or something. Wish me luck stuck home with them! :-)

Date: 2006-09-20 12:30 am (UTC)I know you from mkp, and I was reading the post about Laszlo's bite. My children react to mosquito bites like this, and it is possible benadryl would bring the swelling down. I don't know if it's worth the try or not, but it sounds like such a similar scenario. Hope it gets better soon.
