I had my 24 week checkup today (can you believe I'm 24 weeks already?!?!) Everything went well...baby was cooperative for the Doppler, which always makes it easier for me. Laszlo has a fever, so I kept him home from school today. So...I had both kids with me and they were SOOOOO good. They both really liked hearing Ella's heartbeat on the speaker. It was pretty cool. When I was pregnant with Lily I always took Laszlo to my appointments and he was *always* awful there.
I'm off to the pediatrician now to have Laszlo checked. I wouldn't normally, but since he's been on antibiotics for 8 days already I'm a little nervous.
I have a home party tomorrow night that I'm nowhere near prepared for and I was going to use my time between the OB and Laszlo's bus arriving home to get work done...but obviously that isn't going to happen. I told the kids I had work to do in the basement when we get home from the doctor. If I'm lucky, Lily will nap and Laszlo will play nicely down there and maybe even help me sew a bit. He's acting totally fine, but I just took his temp again and it was 100.6 and that's with Motrin in him.
Oh, and I gained a few pounds since last month's checkup, so now I'm 2 pounds down total. Pregnant women of the world, hate me. :-) It's ok, cuz I'm a porker once the kid is out. I'm allowed to be conceited for these very short months.
ETA: Laszlo has a virus. The doctor said he has some lil things on his throat that are not strep, but are indicative of a virus and that he has "hyperactive bowel sounds" or something like that, and that if he hasn't had diarrhea yet, he will.
