Laszlo was up late last night and very early this morning. He was having a fit and hitting before, so I sent him to his room to cool down. I just checked on him and he's out cold. It's 7:00 pm. He's probably been sleeping about 45 minutes already (not unlike him to just chill out in his room for an hour or so before returning to us once he's gathered himself and calmed down).

Should I wake him up soon? Let him sleep? Risk having him up all night? Let him sleep and keep the Benadryl handy?

LOL @ the Benadryl idea. I will admit I tried that once in a similar situation! Well, she had a cold/runny nose/watery eyes too. Either our bottle is old (3? 4? years) or Sasha is too hyper to be subdued by wimpy little Benadryl.

I'd let him sleep and suffer the consequences, me. But I only have two kids and none are newborn now so I'm not so careful to preserve my chances of getting my own sleep anymore.

Hope he has wonderful piano dreams and stays asleep for you!
