Laszlo is Funny

I already had Lily up and dressed, and I knew Laszlo was in his crib just hanging out. I walked in there to find him on his belly humping his crib. This is something he used to do very often, but now only does on occasion - at least that I'm aware of.

So I asked him if he'd like to come out and get dressed. He said, "No, bye Mommy." So I said, "You want Mommy to leave you alone?" He said, "Yes, bye Mommy...TV on." Ok, I'm not one to dampen my son's sexual exploration, even if he's only 2 1/2...so I said, "Ok, just call me when you want to come out."

I left his room.

"Mommy!"

"Yes baby?"

"Close door."

I swear. I am still chuckling to myself. My lil toddling perv wanted privacy so he could have carnal relations with his mattress.

He kills me, that kid.

Oh, I wish my preschool perv had the same urge for privacy. We tell him over and over that "pushing his p*nis" (his term) is only for in his bed, but when he's bored, he'll drop everything and do it on the floor, the couch, tables, chairs, etc. etc. etc. Yet he wants absolute privacy for pooping: "Don't look at me, Mommy!" even though we have pretty much an open-door bathroom policy.

Good to know he's not alone, anyway.
