Livejournal Dream
Jun. 22nd, 2004 10:44 pmI wish I had written it down this morning when I first woke up, but I got too busy with caring for the kids and animals, etc. I had a dream that I went to meet
preternatural and
jessical in real life. I'm pretty sure the dream came from reading about
preternatural's dream the other day. We were meeting in an airport somewhere and I was taking them to some high school reunion or something. We were like 3 best friends.
hmmmm...
In other news, the bird is doing great. I had a half a day of thinking she was a starling and keeping her, but now I'm quite sure she's a sparrow (not as good pets) so I'm pretty sure I'm going to let her go. It's hard because nobody will take her, no pet stores, no animal sanctuaries, no veterinarians (I've called and called). She has about doubled in size since Saturday and she's getting lots of feathers. She's even trying to fly a little bit, which is so cute. I just hope she's ok when I let her go, she didn't have the teachings of her avian mom about how to avoid cats and how to hunt for food. Fingers are crossed. She definitely has already imprinted on me, which is not good because she clearly thinks I'm her momma. When I try putting her back in her box after feeding her, she struggles to stay on my hand. It's kinda heartbreaking.
