Just wasting time...
Jul. 24th, 2004 06:07 pm...while my hair color sets. Ah, the trials I go through to maintain such outstanding beauty. Can you smell the sarcasm?
Robert's downstairs with Lily and playing guitar for her, which automatically soothes her no matter what. Pretty amazing. My kids are both totally touched by music. I'm convinced Laszlo will be the next Hendrix, only without all the heroin. He already plays the guitar with a pic and holds a tune, knows when to strum, etc. Yet more amazement on my part.
More cute Laszlo stuff...last night he was playing with these wooden cut out letters we have. He picked up the letter D and said, "Letter D says 'duh'." Then he picked up T and said, "Letter T says 'tuh'." (no idea how to punctuate that, my bad) He went on with a few more letters and got them all right. This is all from a video he hasn't watched in weeks, and he's never said this stuff before. So cool what he files away and accesses later on. He rocks.
Finally got some artistic stuff done, but now it's only making me want to do more. I took an old pair of Laszlo's jeans in a 3-6 month size and I sewed all these cute patches of fabric on them for Lily along with hot pink stripper fringe on the bottom. Will post pictures shortly.
Gotta check the clock. What happens anyway if I leave this stuff on for too long? Will my hair just be more damaged? As long as I get rid of this gray I'll be happy. I'm way too young to have all this gray. But then again I feel too young to have a house and 2 kids.
