Scared to Death

My mother just called and said she's having pain in her lower stomach and she's going to the doctor on Monday. She usually puts off going to the doctor unless something serious is going on.

She's been complaining of being really tired. She complained the other night about how itchy her legs were.

Her mother and aunt died of pancreatic cancer. It's genetic.

I'm shaking, I've gone cold. Of course I did research and everything is pointing in this direction. I'm terrified.

I had a dream last night/this morning that my mother died. This is before I knew any of this.

I don't know what to do.

Update

We went to my mom's today because I wanted to see her. She hadn't even thought about cancer of the pancreas because her pain is much lower...she was worrying about cancers of the reproductive organs. I did even more research and found that the pancreas is indeed much higher than her pain is (she showed me exactly where her pain is) - I'm still very scared, and we'll see on Monday what the doctor says. She said that when her mother was sick with pancreatic cancer that it was much different. I'm praying that she's right.
