Laszlo had therapy today and after speech (but before OT), his speech therapist came out and said, "Have I told you recently that I love your son?" Then she hugged me and said, "You've really done such a wonderful job with him."
It was so nice to hear. I really don't hear that enough. When I mention to Robert or my mom that someone complimented me on my parenting, they both say, "You *are* a great mother," but not until someone else says it first.
It's also nice that this is a woman I respect with grown children of her own. I don't think I've ever seen her embrace another parent in the months I've been going there with Laszlo.
