Dear Nesting Instincts/Hormones,

While I'm super thrilled you've arrived full throttle this week, your timing is quite awful. Couldn't you have hurried things up to get here *before* the crippling sciatica pain made its grand entrance??? The two of you must be in cahoots to drive me insane. All I want to do is clean and vacuum and move stuff around, but every time I move, I'm in agony. Thanks for that.

Well, we've embraced Laszlo's affection for people falling down/getting hurt, etc. and purchased a DVD of America's Funniest Home Videos. The fact that he watched it every Sunday for a few weeks with Robert while almost vomiting from laughter was enough for us. He LOVES it. And the fact that the show is in fact such a hit makes me feel better about the sadistic nature of my boy. I think watching Dexter (show on Showtime) has also made me worried about the future-serial-killer aspect of it, but I'm realizing that I'm a paranoid maniac by nature and that he's totally normal in thinking it's hilarious when people fall down.

Whew.

It's also apparently really funny when any animal bites any person in the groin. What a side splitter.
