I took myself this afternoon to see Sex and the City. It was totally hokey, but I loved every second of it. If you watched and loved the show, you should definitely see the movie.
It's always nice to sit in a movie theater alone (well, not alone, but *I* was alone). I didn't do that until I had Ella and hired a babysitter and now I've gone a bunch of times. I just love it.

I haven't baked my old black and white cookies in about a decade. We were invited to a new friend's house on Saturday. They've got a pool and I believe she's providing lunch. I asked what to bring and she suggested dessert - which is always my fave thing to bring because it's my fave thing to eat.
Since this is a new friend and she's been really genuine and cool thus far, I think I'm going to head back into the baking aisle of the market and whip up some of those bad boys.
Especially if Andrea keeps posting baking pictures! :-)
