I love craigslist and freecycle

I'm trying to get rid of the larger baby stuff that we won't be needing anymore. I mean, even in the teensy chance that I have another kid, I can either do without them or buy new.
I sold our Sit n' Stroll (because I hated it when we traveled and because it's been sitting in my garage for years) for $75 yesterday. Not too many responses on the other stuff, so I put some on freecycle. I guess membership has increased a lot since I used to frequent the group, because within minutes I had a handful of responses from people who wanted both Graco swings. I promised them to a Russian woman who said she has very little money and two baby boys. Then a woman who runs a non-profit day care asked for them. I told her she's next in line if the first doesn't show, then I told her the other items I have available and she wants them. Better yet, she can write me a receipt for the donation so we can get a write-off, which I never expect when I post stuff on freecycle.
And a pregnant woman's coming for the infant car seat and base tomorrow.
Maybe I'll actually have some room to move freely in my house and garage in the very near future? Yay.
