You know when you hear people on the news talking about people like this and they say, "Oh, he seemed like the nicest guy" and you want to smack them once you've heard the horrible thing they've allegedly done? Well, he seemed like the nicest guy. They came to the gym together and were always polite and all smiles. I once asked my trainer if he was an asshole (because he always accessorized and you could tell he adored the mirror) and she told me that he was actually a really nice guy.
Guess not.
I didn't know she had a kid. But I never really spoke to them other than a casual hello.
I doubt I'll see them again because I'm pretty sure the owner of the gym is furious that his name was associated with the gym in the newspaper.
"Hey, isn't this the gym with the personal trainer who was a bodybuilder who beat a little boy for weeks?" Yeah, I can see how that might not be a great association :P If you do see him again, throw a free weight at him for me, k?
