Ridiculousness

Just wanted to mention what happened at Laszlo's therapy the other day.
I was in the waiting area with Lily and there were 2 moms chatting away. They went nuts over Lily's overalls were saying that I should sell them at their kids' nursery school. Then they went on to talk about that school. I was sorta in the conversation, but not really. I'm not "in their league" - so to speak. The one woman, in her full length mink coat, went on to say how she's sending her 2 year old for 2 mornings a week, from 9-11:15, so he can get used to school. And she sends her 4 year old 5 days a week. She pays *$12,000* for the 4 year old and $5,000 for the 2 year old. $17,000 annually on NURSERY SCHOOL. I went to a private college and my tuition, room and board was less than that annually! Oh, and that doesn't count whatever summer programs they put their kids in. Seriously, I was shocked at that. And people think I exaggerate when I talk about Long Island moms!
