Proud of my Boy

Tonight we went to TGIFriday's for dinner. Now, in "normal" Laszlo days, this would have been a very bad idea. But since he's been so much better, we decided to go. We were seated right by the door, under a speaker that was playing loud music. He didn't flinch. He was looking all around at the decor, but didn't complain once about anything. We ordered him his standard grilled cheese and fries. He ate more than he usually eats in restaurants, and asked for more...then played nicely with the sugar packets (another favorite) and chatted until we were all done. The table next to us was 4 rambunctious teenage girls who pretended it was one of their birthdays so of course the waitstaff came over and sang *very loudly* right next to us. Robert and I were cringing when they started, but Laszlo just watched, totally unaffected. Lily actually clapped when they were done singing, it was so cute.
Robert doesn't usually comment on Laszlo's progress, but tonight on the way out of the restaurant, he couldn't stop raving about his behavior. He said, "Laszlo, you did so good in the restaurant tonight, you were such a good boy!" And Laszlo turned to his froggy and said, "Froggy, you were GREAT!" He's so funny.
That's all, just wanted to beam a little. Not sure if it's time or therapy or a combination of both, but my boy's just about over his whole restaurant/social/party thing and I couldn't be prouder of him.
