Ok, so this is what the dress looked like last night:







Lily kept coming up to me and trying to climb up the dress.




Here's the hair pre-makeup/dress...it still looks exactly like this 24 hours (and sleep and beach) later because of how much hair spray is in it. I'm scared to run a brush through it.

First off, thank you!

Ha, I forgot to post the story about what an asshole Robert is. I told him that I was going to wear that dress, so that we're saving money, etc. without me buying a new dress. He said, "It still *fits* you?" Believe me, he was implying that it would be too small. Then I tried it on for him and asked him to unzip the back because I couldn't get leverage to start the zipper. He put his finger between my back and the dress and again said, "Does this *fit* you?" I wanted to fucking strangle him. This is after I told him that the dress fits me BETTER now than it did at our wedding, 6 years and 2 kids ago. Fucker.

The best part of the story is that when he went to try on his tuxedo last Tuesday, it was TINY on him. And he didn't wear his tuxedo to our wedding. He wore it twice, once when I was pregnant with Laszlo and again *a year and a half ago* - and he ended up renting a tux for last night. Fucker.

Our last music class is this week, so until July we're free Wednesdays and Thursdays. We all have cooties right now, but hopefully they'll be gone in a day or so. Laszlo had 104 on Friday night and Lily was running 102. I've got a cold/sore throat thing happening, but I'm not sure if it's related to whatever they have/had.

Yep, I made it throughout the last few months of my pregnancy with him. We took it out of the trash and it was sitting in our then-spare room for 2 years. I decided I'd try something with it before we went shopping for furniture for him - that's the end result.

I still feel bad that I didn't make Lily something similar, but I didn't have the time with Laszlo around and we were moving too. I did do her birth announcements and I have the original framed in her room, so I can always show her that if she feels snubbed. Oh, and I make her a ton of clothes too, so there!

And you hauling out the half ton or so of photos/CDs/DVDs of those sweet ruffly bowsy things you make for her to wear.

Laszlo is such a handsome wee guy, you are going to be beating the girls away from him with a stick in 10 years time.
And I love, love, love the armoire, it's so beautiful and creative! It's looks like you had a lot of fun decoupaging that.
And I adore the sewing things you make. I really should try some of those embellishments on some of my kids clothes to give them a new lease of life. you are such a creative bunny :-)
